RELATED DEPARTMENT is an independent graphic design practice founded in Shanghai in 2017, in which we dedicate ourselves to alternative approaches in design-related experiments, academic researches, visual exploration and cultural output. We actively focus on the post-Internet and post-colonial contexts for image-making processes and typographic expression. We founded Page Bureau in 2018, a self-publishing unit of RELATED DEPARTMENT, which releases printed matter and digital files ranging from one page to thousands of pages, designed with/for our friends.
