Plural is a collaborative art and design practice. Focused on a process of research and experimentation, Plural collaborates on meaningful projects in art, design, interaction, installation, music, new media, and technology.
The studio was founded in 2008 by Jeremiah Chiu and Renata Graw. Collectively they have received recognition by the Art Directors club, AIGA, The Type Directors Club, The Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, Communication Arts magazine, Print magazine, How magazine, Creative Review, Taiwan DPI, Gallery Magazine / HK, The Society of Typographic Arts, and have exhibited nationally and internationally in the 10th Graphic Design Bienal in Brazil, Cincinnati Contemporary Art Center, Public Works Gallery, Salisbury University Art Gallery, among others.
Design is a process of research, problem solving, experimenting, and addressing/understanding what is natural. We are interested in discovering ways to better communicate and understand our relationship to our environment. We are not interested in beautification without meaning.
