NOVIKI is an artistic and research duo founded by Marcin Nowicki and Katarzyna Nestorowicz, operating at the intersection of art, technology, and design. Their practice investigates the ongoing transformation of visual culture and the emerging aesthetics produced through the interplay of language, digital tools and algorithmic systems. They approach design as both a critical and epistemological method, while treating publications, exhibitions, and editorial processes as forms of artistic research. NOVIKI initiates research-oriented think tanks such as Future Fragments, fostering dialogue between artistic practice, critical theory, and technological development. Their portfolio includes projects for galleries, cultural institutions, exhibitions, and digital platforms, with a strong focus on contemporary aesthetics and innovative problem-solving. Recent commissions include works with BMW, Het Nieuwe Instituut (Rotterdam), SPACE-GOV, Gunia Nowik Gallery and TRACTS. The duo also lectures, conducts workshops, exhibits internationally, and has received awards including ED Awards 2025, Studio of the Year 2019 from the Polish Association of Professional Graphic Designers, and Project of the Year recognitions.
