hyoun youl joe is a graphic designer based in seoul, south korea. he received a b.f.a in visual communication design from dankook university in 2004 and m.f.a. in graphic design from yale university in 2009. his work focuses mainly on experiment in various visual relationship between images and texts in the context of society and culture. he has been working as a graphic designer at studio hey joe since 2009, and is teaching a graphic design at dankook university.
