Building Paris is a graphic design and art direction studio founded in 2012 by Benoît Santiard and Guillaume Grall (with Ambre Louineau). Convinced that design must above all serve content, their work is marked by a pronounced taste for clarity and adapts to each context with particular attention to typographical detail; since 2008 they have been teaching communication and representation at the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture Paris-Est. The studio works on publishing, visual identity and exhibition projects across varied subjects and scales, where constraints (temporal, economic, material) drive the creative process; in 2019 they founded Building Books, a publishing house focused on landscapes and built forms.
