Beate Pietrek is a Graphic Designer based in Germany.
She studied communication design at the Academie Of Fine Arts And Design in Stuttgart in the class of Prof. Niklaus Troxler.
After two years at the lovely studio ROSE PISTOLA in Munich, she spent nearly two years in New York at NUMBER 17, where she worked for interesting clients like NEWSWEEK. Back in Germany she worked some time in Stuttgart at DORTEN which is an ad agancy. Then she moved to Hamburg and worked more than a year at STERN. There she was part of a group of four designers who desined the cover of the weekly magazine. Since 2012 she worked as a graphic designer at ZEIT CAMPUS which is a magazine for students and youth culture. Since February 2012 she is the Art Dirctor of ZEIT CAMPUS.
She is developing visual concepts for books, covers, posters, logos and visual identities.
Besides she is working as a photographer for different editorial projects.
Her work has been awardet several times.
