Andrea Karch is a multidisciplinary designer, researching youth culture and writing fiction. She graduated with a BA in Integrated Design at the University of the Arts Bremen, Germany and obtained her MFA at the Sandberg Instituut Amsterdam, Design Department.
She is currently based in Amsterdam and open for commissions, collaborations, talks and workshops.
Her graduation work “Radical Youth” is in search of a generation’s Zeitgeist, one that is mythicised as Generation-Y. Andrea’s interest lies in the uprising “subcultures“ such as the right wing “Nipster“ movement, the wave of european Jihadi youth or the phenomenon of rampage shooters.
Andrea is a member of the publishing house PUB.
