Afrika is a design studio located in Zurich, Switzerland. Founded in 2010 by Florian Jakober and Michael Zehnder. They work on commissioned projects for Swiss and international clients.
After studying together at Zurich University of the Arts, they gained work experience in design studios and agencies in England, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Denmark.
They are design engineers – Design software, production processes and handcraft inspire them and lead them to innovative solutions. Science and history provide them the foundation to link up existing concepts with new ideas and techniques.
